Shipments of pottery are imported from Mexico to Central California. Each piece of pottery is broken open and handcut rock is carefully fit into the curves to ensure a perfect fit. This allows the water to gracefully cascade along the rocks into a clear pool of water. Each fountain is lighted from the top, simulating the soft glow of a dewy sunrise. To bring out the beauty of the natural stone, the artist gently applies just the right tones and colors to the pottery. The result is not just a fountain, but also a beautiful work of art.
